Worry is everywhere, particularly in high schools.
In Matthew 6, Jesus tells his followers to not worry about anything, like what they are to eat and what clothes they needed to wear. Instead, Jesus says, “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” (Matthew 21:22) Believe is the key word in this sentence, because it is the only hindrance to receiving all that we ask for.
These two passages are connected. In both, Jesus wants his followers to not worry about any of the worldly things going on around them and put their trust in Him. Jesus says that God will take care of all that have faith, and those who have faith will receive whatever they ask for in prayer.
So instead of worrying, pray (See Philippians 4:6).
